Apron Bodice to send IndiaSandy Sapienza

My apron transformed from a pink cotton man’s dress shirt into a garment with interesting surfaces and special meanings. The printing and stitching, the addition of important embroidered words, the selection of amulets and embellishments all contributed making it a work with special meaning for me.  The most important thing about the apron is that it records my learning process. After all, the workshop was not really about making an apron but learning new skills, gaining new insights and interacting new people.
